SISSY BOREL CONTINUING EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

BOREL CONTINUING EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP  GUIDELINES   
 
This Scholarship is open to those persons aspiring to gain an educational degree in a field that will help to improve their lives and the lives of those who depend on them. Active-duty military personnel are eligible to apply also.
 
To be eligible for one of two $1,000 Scholarships, each applicant must plan to carry at least 12 credit hours of college or attend a Vocational Training Program during the upcoming fall semester and submit the following:
1. Application completed
2. Most recent official transcript
3. Verification of Family income (to be used to determine need)
4. Document verifying acceptance by college (or current enrollment)
5. Essay: (500 word maximum) Explain why you are pursuing this education and what achieving your goal will mean to you.
 
Applicants must:
1. Have a High School diploma or G.E.D.
2. Be a relative of an Auxiliary member or member themselves
3. Have performed Volunteer services in the Community or with an organization (not just school activities).   
 
This Scholarship will send $500 for the first semester and $500 for the second Semester, with proof of GPA of at least a 2.0.
